Below are some of the soups, sides and other items Mama has made in the past. This list will grow with each new item. All of these are available for special order.

Split Pea & Ham

Mama turns a honey-baked hambone into Split Pea and Ham Soup. French lentils get nice and fat in a slow cooked homemade ham broth. Sure to warm you up and simply satisfy.

Tom Kha Gai

This spicy, hot, sweet soup is the "chicken noodle of Thailand." Chicken and mushrooms in a sweet coconut milk broth have a perfect balance with the ginger, lemon grass and kaffir limes. Smoky chiles give it a little color and heat, but it won't burn your biscuits either. Each order comes with crispy fried wontons.

Black Bean & Pumpkin Chili

Mama gives you a twist on the traditional and will be making Pumpkin and Black Bean Chili. Protein-packed black beans and smoky cumin are blended with roasted pumpkin in a vegetarian version of this cold weather comfort food.

African Chicken and Peanut Stew

Chicken and peanut stew is a typical midday meal in West Africa and this is Mama's version of exotic comfort food. White and dark meat chicken is slowly simmered with ginger and peppercorns, and then combined with toasted peanuts, earthy potatoes, ripe tomatoes and healthy spinach. Mama's homegrown Scotch bonnets give it quite a kick.

Carrot and Orange Soup

This bright and summery soup is always popular for its wonderfully creamy consistency and vibrantly fresh citrus flavor. Carrots and leeks are cooked in butter, then combined with orange zest, homemade vegetable stock and Greek yogurt. A little bit of fresh cilantro gives it some extra flavor.

French Onion & Gruyère Croûtes

This is probably the most famous and popular of all onion soups. It was traditionally served as an early morning meal to the workers of Les Halles market in Paris. Mama's version is made with yellow onions cooked in butter with fresh herbs, dry white wine and homemade beef stock. The croûtes are homemade with garlic and dry mustard.
